If you are doing italic hand writing, this is a file of the alphabet in a font similar to Getty-Dubay. I am thinking it would be fun to print this on cardstock and use glitter glue for the children to trace. Using all three senses increases learning! Here is the original document.

WHY SHOULD I TEACH MY CHILD ITALIC HANDWRITING?

I love handwriting.

I HATE penmanship.

Why?

Because penmanship makes writing your letters tedious and no fun.

Additionally, the writing you learn in school is NOT the writing you would later CHOOSE to use.

So I have chosen to teach my children a more practical method of writing.

Enter the wonderful Italic Handwriting.
